The animal remained isolated on the roof of a house in Canoas for days and had to be rescued by a task force. Since the rescue, celebrities have come forward to adopt him, including Philip Neto AND Giovanna Ewbank.

According to the influencer, however, Caramelo’s future is already defined. “Regarding Caramelo, I was ready to adopt him. Giovanna Ewbank too. But I received the news that they had decided that he would remain in Rio Grande do Sul as a symbol of the State. I respected him totally. Whatever, I’m here”He said.

It is worth mentioning that the horse is located at the Lutheran University of Brazil (Ulbra), in Canoas, and is receiving complete care. The animal does not have an identification chip, so the medical team waits for the owner to show up with photos to prove it. But because it shows signs of abuse, it is believed that it will not search for the animal. In this case Caramelo will continue to live in the university shelter.
