Thalyta Alveswho participated in the BBB 24 and was the second eliminated from the reality show, she used social media to vent about the lack of opportunities. She said she had not received invitations to events geared toward blacks.

“I think it’s funny that for many things I’m black, for everything that’s ugly, I’m black, but for what’s beautiful, for Sao Paulo Fashion Week, the black parade, they don’t call me, for the ‘Feira Pretitude ‘, don’t call me, ‘Feira Negritude’, I’m black for nothing”he has declared.

The former BBB expressed his frustration at the lack of recognition, saying: “But I’m not even blonde with blue eyes, am I? As you can see, it’s obvious that I’m not. Maybe I’m not that dark black woman, but I exclude from all social events an agenda that I embrace, that I live”.

Finally, Thalyta complained: “So for everyone asking why I didn’t go, it’s because I’m not black enough. Even being black requires a high school diploma.”.
