Influencer Lucas Alexandre Barros de Sousa, 22, died after overturning his car on GO-080, in Goiânia, while returning from an event. In his latest post on Instagram, the influencer used the caption “we live” to show a montage made up of photos of the young man.

Lucas has been a veterinary medicine student since 2020. With more than 450,000 followers, the student’s profile is full of funny videos and relationship posts, as well as showing a bit of his life as a college student.

In May, when heavy rains in Rio Grande do Sul left thousands of people homeless, Lucas and other influencers, such as Luan Pardini and Matheus Tecco, asked for donations for flood victims.

In his role as an influencer, Lucas has promoted products, shoe stores and perfume brands.

The accident that ended with the death of Lucas occurred in the early hours of this Saturday, the 22nd, on GO-080, in Goiânia. The firefighters found that the car the young man was in went off the road and overturned. He died at the scene of the accident.

A few hours after the accident, Sandra Nunes, the young man’s mother, published a video confirming her son’s death. “It is with immense pain in my heart and immense regret … my heart is broken … that I have come here to tell you that this is not a lie. Lucas was in a car accident,” she reportedly said.
