The actress underwent therapy to survive her departure from Globo: “This is her life”

In an interview with Carlos Tramontina on the podcast ‘Flow News’, Suzana Pires commented on the double closure of Globo. As an actress, she has starred in several soap operas, such as ‘Araguaia’ and ‘Fina Estampa’. Her works as an author include ‘Sol Nascente’ and ‘Flor do Caribe’.

“I left before the stampede,” he said, referring to the dozens of layoffs in recent years. “I felt the need to leave my activity as an author first because I presented several projects and I didn’t like them. And I didn’t want to write novels anymore.”

He provided details of the deal. “At the end of 2019 I had a great conversation with some executives at the company, saying that my contract as an author was expiring in February 2020 and I wanted to leave.”

Suzana said she sought specialized help to overcome the delicate moment in her career. “I prepared myself emotionally for this, it wasn’t easy, because Globo is a family, this is your life. I had to do a lot of therapy (to get out of the canal).”

Her contract as an actress expired on March 31, 2022. The following day she was already in the cast of the series “The Magic of Aruna”, on the Disney+ streaming platform.

“What makes me feel better today and not feel tired is that I went to therapy so I could leave Globo and not leave with regrets,” he explained. The artist was grateful to the channel for providing conditions for having two careers at once.

Carlos Tramontina took advantage of the topic to say that, during the confinement of the covid-19 pandemic, he foresaw the change in the world of television and anticipated it, amicably negotiating his departure from Globo after almost 44 years at the broadcaster.
