Singer Leonardo was included in the recent update of the “Dirty List” of the employers who subjected the workers conditions similar to slavery. The compatriot appears with his registered name, Emival Eterno da Costain the list of over 176 names published this Monday, 7.

In the list, the Talisman Farm appears with the report of six workers involved. The property is located in the municipality of Jussara (GO), just over 220 kilometers from Goiânia, the state capital.

In total, the list has 727 names. Among those included on Monday, 22 employers are in coal production, 17 in livestock farming, 14 in mineral extraction and 11 in coffee cultivation and civil construction, among other sectors. 85 employers who had completed two years of registration in the register were also excluded from the update.

The list is updated every six months. According to the Ministry of Labor and Employment, the inclusion of employers takes place “only after the conclusion of the administrative procedure which judges the specific employment relationship to be similar to slavery, with a consequent final administrative decision of origin”.
