A car accident disrupted travel plans for Alaska youtuber couple Bruna Gomes Mota and Jamisson Mota Carvalho. A vehicle hit the van of them, turned into campers, in Paulista Avenue, in Sao Paulo. One video shows the exact moment of the heartbeat.
The case occurred on Tuesday 12, as they were crossing the capital Sao Paulo towards the coast, but they were hit from behind by another vehicle at a traffic light on the road. The couple’s camera was on and recorded the impact the van suffered when it was hit. In the background, you can see the dogs frightened by the crash.
“We stopped at the traffic lights, the boy crashed behind the van. Okay, but I was nervous. This will delay and interrupt our journey, because you will have to repair the car, ”says Bruna crying.
In addition to the damage to the outside, Bruna and Jamisson also had problems with the structure of the furniture inside the camper. The refrigerator door is broken. Once the insurance of the driver who hit the van was activated, however, the tow truck was not brought to the site and the vehicle had to remain on the Paulista.
Without the return of the insurance, the couple made a vent on social media. “After two years of building our house with so much love and care, seeing it like this today hurt me a lot. […] We sleep, cook, work, live and travel in this car. It is our home and we are helpless in the middle of a gigantic and dangerous city, and our home is DESTROYED ”.
On Wednesday the 13th, the insurance company collected the car and arranged accommodation for the couple. “We will be able to solve all the problems and continue the journey later,” says Bruna.
The couple’s travels around the world began during the covid-19 pandemic. They turned the van into a camper after selling all their belongings, investing everything in the vehicle. The two intend to travel to Argentina as soon as the vehicle is ready.
