One week after the announced return of “Chaves” to programming, SBT has decided to go back and cancel the broadcast of the comedy scheduled for the 18th.

In a statement sent to the press, the network owned by Silvio Santos (1930-2024) specifies that “the changes to the night-time programming slot from the 18th onwards have been cancelled”. The justification is simple: the channel’s affiliates prefer to air an extended, local edition of “Tá na Hora”.

As a result, the rerun of “As Aventuras de Poliana” will also be cancelled.

So far it is unknown what time “Chaves” might be shown.
