New from the Marvel Cinematic Universe grossed more than US$1.3 billion at the global box office and broke several records

After a successful run in cinemas, Deadpool & Wolverinenew film from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, starring Ryan Reynolds (Friends Imaginaries) and Hugh Jackman (The Greatest Showman), arrived on Disney+ this Tuesday, November 12th.

What is the story of Deadpool & Wolverine?

In Deadpool & Wolverineafter a great disappointment in his life, Wade Wilson (Ryan Reynolds) decided to retire Deadpool and chose to continue as a simple — and impatient — car salesman.

However, when the Chatty Mercenary is kidnapped by the Time Variance Authority, AVT, he discovers that his reality is in danger of being extinguished, along with the love of his life, Vanessa (Morena Baccarin), and your friends.

At the agency, Deadpool also discovers that he needs his archenemy, wolverine (Hugh Jackman), to try to reverse the situation. Unwillingly, he goes after the hero, but when he thinks he has everything in hand to solve the problem, the duo crosses paths with Cassandra Nova (Emma Corrin, The Crown), the professor’s evil twin sister Charles Xavier.

Who else is in the new cast?

Deadpool & Wolverine still counts on the returns of Stefan Kapicic as Colossus, Brianna Hildebrand as Negasonic Teenage Warhead, Shioli Kutsuna as Yukio, Rob Delaney as Peter, Karan Soni as Dopinder, Leslie Uggams as Al Cega and Lewis Tan as Shatterstar.

Complete the cast Aaron Stanfordfrom X-Men 2 (2003) and X-Men: The Last Stand (2007), which returns as Pyro; Dafne Keenfrom Logan (2017), who returns to live Laura/X-23; and Matthew Macfadyen from the series Succession (2018-2023), which interprets the Mr. Paradoxan AVT agent.

Deadpool & Wolverine is directed by Shawn Levy (Free Guy: Taking Control) based on the filmmaker’s own script in collaboration with Ryan Reynolds and Rhett Reesefrom Deadpool (2016) and Deadpool 2 (2018). Watch the trailer:
