How much Gugu’s sister stopped receiving from her inheritance after arguing with her nephews

Aparecida Liberato would be entitled to a high value for having played an important role in asset management

The numerologist and presenter of +SBT Aparecida Liberato revealed to ‘Fantástico’ her renunciation of the percentage she is entitled to as executor of her brother Gugu Liberato’s estate.

According to journalist Ana Carolina Raimondi, it would represent up to 5% of the R$1.4 billion assets. The Globo program highlighted that the value of the inheritance is greater than previously reported in the press.

Considering the figures reported in the report, Aparecida stopped receiving 70 million reais for the administration of the presenter’s estate until the fulfillment of the will and the end of the legal disputes between Gugu’s 3 children and their mother, Dr. Rose Miriam.

“I didn’t take it as a job, a burden, expecting financial compensation,” he said. “My brother made a wish to me and I granted his wish. Loyalty to him. It has nothing to do with money, nothing to do with it.”

The numerologist showed resentment for being criticized in public after denying some requests for money from her grandchildren during the inventory and for the lawsuit brought by Rose Miriam for the recognition of a stable union and, consequently, the right to a part of the inheritance. “It’s been five years of pain,” he said.

Asked whether he would agree to resume contact with the doctor, who dropped the lawsuit after agreeing to receive an “allowance” from his children for the rest of his life, Aparecida showed no interest. “We must ask for forgiveness and an apology from Gugu.”

In addition to benefiting his 3 children (João Augusto, Sofia and Marina), the presenter left 25% of the inheritance to the 2 children of Aparecida and the 3 children of his older brother, Amandio. Each of his grandchildren is expected to receive around R$70 million.

Gugu Liberato died at the age of 60 in November 2019. He died brain dead two days after falling from the ceiling of his mansion in the US state of Florida. He had gone upstairs to check the air conditioning when he fell and hit his head on the kitchen counter.
