Argentine police arrested Brian Pacethis Friday (3), on charges of involvement in the death of Liam Payne, former member of the band One Direction. The 31-year-old British singer died on October 16 after falling from the third floor of a hotel in Buenos Aires. Peace he is accused of having supplied cocaine to the artist two days before the tragedy.

The arrest took place in Ingeniero Budge, in the Greater Buenos Aires region, and is part of an investigation involving four other people. Among the accused is a businessman who accompanied him Liam the night of the accident and two hotel managers. Authorities allege that these managers neglected the singer’s condition, allowing him to go up to his room alone even after noticing that he was visibly intoxicated and unable to walk without assistance.
