Ivete Sangalothe queen of the axé, has enchanted the public once again with her new EP “Summer Knocked on My Door” engraved on the iconic Barra lighthousein Salvador. The project, which celebrates the energy of the Bahian summer, presents five tracks: “Good Energy”, “Summer Knocked on My Door”,“Tum Tum Tum Tugurungudum”, “Let me deserve”in collaboration with Margareth MenezesAND “Perfect place”a collaboration with Anita.

With a tropical and energetic look to welcome summer, the singer released the video of her latest hit this Thursday (16th) “Good Energy” which promises to be the highlight of Carnival 2025.

To compose the aesthetics of the clip and offer a harmonious look during the sunset in Salvador, Ivete he relied on the stylist’s experience Alberth Franconaidwho opted for a proposal full of bright colors and tropical elements. Always avoiding the obvious, signature trait, the look was carefully planned to reflect not only the singer’s infectious energy, but also the vibrant essence of the Bahian summer.

Veveta participated in the entire process

In an exclusive interview with With you!, Alberth Franconaid he revealed it Ivete Sangalo she had an active voice throughout the creative process, from choosing the pieces to integrating the look. “The whole composition was created together with the singer herself! Ivete is an entity of Brazilian music, with good mood and contagious energy. The mixture of many colors was an idea to portray this summer ‘Veveta’ as vibrant, happy , cheerful and elegant,” the designer underlined.

Farol da Barra was the stage for the new EP

The chosen setting, the iconic one Barra lighthouseone of the most coveted locations in Brazil, served as the perfect backdrop for this unique combination of fashion, music and culture.

About the choice, Alberth Franconaid commented: “The EP was recorded at Farol da Barra, one of the postcards of Salvador. So, we wanted something that referred to all the colors that give life to the city. Salvador and Bahia occupy this space of a happy, colorful and warm capital, and they have in their culture a mixture of many colors, as happens with the ribbons of the Senhor do Bonfim that color different parts of the city, and with the vibrant walls of the Pelourinho.”

Francone highlights it further Ivete Sangalo and Salvador are the main protagonists of this new EP:“I think both Farol da Barra and Ivete and their musicality are a true heritage of Salvador and Brazil. Everything worked together, but the dancing and compelling musicality of the EP, combined with the beautiful sunset at Farol da Barra and the presence infectiousness of Ivete’s music stage, is what really brings the look to life.”

Style and comfort = Everything for Veveta

When asked about the comfort of the look, Alberth Franconaid replied: “I believe that limiting Ivete’s movements and animation with uncomfortable pieces would be, figuratively speaking, a ‘crime.’ Therefore, we worked with smaller heels or platforms, leggings to provide plenty of mobility, and a plunging neckline to bring the sensuality that the project requested!”

Francone also highlighted a surprising detail of the Ivete Sangalo: “The veil is a very current and modern trend, but one that Ivete loves. It perfectly matched her ‘very Brazilian’ and Latin style!”

What brands did Ivete use?

The queen of the axé shone with a perfect look for the summer. The blouse is a creative recycling of a bodysuit from the collection Francone. The trousers come from Naked worshippaired with an incredible scarf by Nammos resort wear. Finally, a belt from Versace and glasses Gucciwhich added a touch of sophistication to the look.
