The 54-year-old former Slovenian model chose a dark blue coat by the American designer Adam Lippes, ex Oscar de La Renta. Underneath, a white shirt. She wore black leather gloves to brave the low temperatures of minus 2 degrees and a wide-brimmed blue hat with white details, created by New York-based designer Eric Javits.
On her feet, dark blue pumps that make her almost 1.90 m tall. Her long hair was tied in a bun. Melania opted for a more classic look than at the 2017 inauguration, when she wore a light blue dress with a geometric coat of the same color by Ralph Lauren, and a relaxed hairstyle.
