Such a father such a son! Pedro Novaes Comments on comparisons with Marcello Novaes

Protagonist of the novel Girl of the moment, Pedro Novaesson of Marcello Novaes AND Letícia Spillerhas gained prominence on television, but also often deals with comparisons to his famous father. In a recent interview, the actor opened his heart on the topic, demonstrating maturity and pride in his family legacy.

“I find myself similar to my father, yes. Today, even more so. For me it’s not a problem. I’m still me and I’m different from him on several issues.”Pedro commented, noting that although the similarities are undeniable, he tries to walk in his own way. Pedro also highlighted the personality differences between them.

“I’m from a different generation, right? My father has more foot on the floor and is methodical. I’m more free and lets life take me. But we learn from each other”he said, highlighting the exchange of experiences between father and son. Speaking about his father’s influence on his career, Pedro was emphatic that he was never forced to pursue the performing arts.

“It gave me a lot about character, humility, respect and mental toughness. And it made me very free to choose what profession to follow, I just wanted to dedicate myself to what I was going to do”explained the young actor. Pedro recalled one of the most valuable pieces of advice he received from Marcello when he started his career. “He said, ‘decorate the text and arrive on time. Respect and humility. The rest you will learn'”he said.
