Priscilla Alcantara completes 20 years of career and comments

The singer Priscilla Alcantara completes two decades of artistic trajectory with the tour “Priscilla – everything is music”, which recorded socks in all performances. This Thursday (24), the 29 -year -old artist, who now signs only as Priscilla, reiterated his decision not to return to the religious segment.

The former SBT conductor began his career at the age of 8 and built a path that led her from television on stage. In 2021, he officially announced his departure from Gospel music to explore new musical horizons.

Upon the possible return to the religious segment, the singer was directed: “Going back to something, such a native place, would be a little back”declared in an interview. He explained that his decision is linked to the search for creative freedom: “Today I put my art in a place of freedom.”

The transition to the pop universe took place after years of acting in the Gospel. “For a long time I fought to make my art free from labels and niches”The singer said, adding: “I want to continue inspiring people, but in a much freer way.”

Priscilla Alcantara was known nationally as the guest of the “Good Dia & Company” program. The artist later decided to give priority to music, his true vocation.

The current tour crosses several Brazilian cities. The shows were designed as a celebration and also as the reference point of a new phase in the artist’s career.

In reflecting on his trajectory, Priscilla Alcantara highlighted the importance of TV in his career: “Television has given me many structures, many open doors. Today my music has reached several people because they saw me on TV, they have known me since I was a child.” Stressed that the change was necessary: “I did for many years, my dream is always music. I still had much more to live, in particular my musical career, which I hadn’t even started.”

The artist also commented on the maintenance of his essence after so many years: “The more time passes, the more difficult we have to dream, to have faith. The child imagines and that imagination is already his reality. I want to keep that ability in me alive.”

Information on the young public exhibition, the singer, who also acts as a songwriter, multi -instrumentalist, presenter, actress, actor and writer, said: “I am very reserved because I know that everything in my life can end up being exposed in a negative way. But I think I have learned to face it well“.
