Socialite Val Marchiori, 50, was keen to cut her hair shorter to begin treatment for breast cancer. In a post published on Saturday evening, the 11th, on her Instagram, Val published a video in which she appears holding back tears and showing off her new cut.

In the caption, the entrepreneur wrote that she was experiencing a moment of “new beginning”. “It’s not just about cutting your hair… it’s about courage. About facing the fear of going bald and, at the same time, feeling a new woman being born inside me,” he said.

“Today begins a new phase: the beginning of my treatment, the beginning of my recovery. With fear, yes… but with hope and faith in God, first and foremost”, he continued.

Val said she was confident she would “win this battle against breast cancer” and thanked the people who supported her. “I am grateful to my husband Amilton, who is by my side every step of the way. To my children, to my dear friend, to my family and to everyone who surrounds me with love. To my followers and to every person who sends me good energy and words of affection: you make me stronger every day,” wrote the influencer.

Val Marchiori said in August this year that she discovered breast cancer after a routine exam. Since then he has been using social networks to share his steps regarding the disease, the cure for which has been defined as the 1st. The socialite said she will undergo chemotherapy and radiotherapy sessions.
