“She was very thin, she had lost a lot of weight,” Carole told People magazine. According to her, the actress has been spending more time in Palm Springs since her home was damaged in the California fires.

“She was there for a while, and when she came back,” Carole said, “I was a little surprised at how much weight she had lost.”
Despite the difficulties, Carole stressed that Diane has maintained her usual brightness and creativity. “She was a magical light for everyone. She lit up every room, was always cheerful and photographed everything she saw,” he recalled. The two recently collaborated on the Christmas song First Christmas, released by Keaton in November 2024, the first solo single of the actress’ career.

“She loved recording this song, she was like a little girl with so much excitement,” the composer said.
To mark the launch, Diane celebrated in a post on her Instagram account. “I can’t believe it’s finally here!” Diane wrote in November 2024. “MY DEBUT SINGLE ‘FIRST CHRISTMAS’ WILL BE RELEASED ON FRIDAY NOVEMBER 29.”
According to Carole, Diane “was so authentic when she sang, I mean, she sang like she was singing, and she was kind of acting, you know, because she’s a great actress. And then she started crying while she was singing. But she did such a beautiful job,” she concluded.
