“I feel it, sure, but I think it’s normal pressure. Today, experiencing Carnival, I see that it is not a joke. It is a very big responsibility that we carry on our shoulders,” says the influencer in an interview with Earth.
Gkay explains that by having close contact with the world of samba schools, he has gained a greater understanding of the number of people involved in a parade and the responsibility of occupying a prominent place in the Marquês de Sapucaí.
“If you have a position at school, you have to do your best, you have to put in a lot of effort, because there are hundreds of people doing super serious work, dedicating themselves and making it happen.”
“When they say that Carnival has already started it is because there are those who are working to get it started. It’s normal to have these looks [sob as famosas]because people want you to be your best. I am studying and doing everything I can to make mine happen,” adds Gkay.
In an interview with Earth At The Town, the comedian had already told a little about her study routine, which includes up to three samba lessons a week and also readings on the history and legacy of the samba school. “Salgueiro is a centuries-old school. I want to know everything about its history and its legacy. I want to throw myself into it, body, soul and heart,” he said.
