Away from fame, find out what the job of Carla Perez’s youngest son is

Carla Perez’s son chose not to follow his parents’ artistic path and deals with physical preparation and nutritional consultancy.

Victor Alexandre, youngest son of Brazilian artists Carla Perez and Xanddy, works as a personal trainer in the United States. The 22-year-old, who has more than 370,000 followers on social media, has chosen not to follow his parents’ artistic career. He has lived with his family in Florida for a few years, where he also offers online nutritional counseling.

Her professional career began at the age of 15, in 2018, motivated by the desire for financial independence. “I started working when I was 15. I always wanted to buy my own things. At that time, I liked buying games. I never cared much about clothes. I wore the same one three times a week. But my father always told me ‘no’ when I asked for money to buy games! This was very useful for me, to really learn the value of things and gain maturity,” Victor reported in an interview with the website Quem.

With his first salary, the son of Carla Perez, former dancer of the group É o Tchan, and singer Xanddy, lead singer of Harmonia do Samba, received 250 dollars a week. “Since I was earning minimum wage here, and the salary is hourly, I was earning $250 a week, and I had to know how to use that money. My first car, a Kia Forte, I managed to buy with my job, when I was 16. In fact, it’s the car I have today. I like it and it’s very cheap,” he added.

From the beginning of his professional life, Victor remained constantly active in the job market. “I worked for a year as a meat deliveryman, we delivered meat all over Florida. But in 2020 Covid arrived and in the evening I went to high school. I worked in a hotel, it was a bit far from home, and then I found a job at the UPS, which is like the post office in Brazil, for almost two years. Now I’m a personal trainer. Since I was 15 I have never stopped,” he explained.

The choice for the Kinesiology and Nutrition area was based on the professional opportunities available in the United States. “I chose it because Kinesiology opens up a world of opportunities here in the United States, both to become a sports scientist and to work with clubs, physical therapy and nutrition. I have always enjoyed this area of fitness and health. So I follow my heart. I really love my area of expertise!,” he said.

The path to becoming a personal trainer happened naturally during his studies. “At first I just trained in the gym and studied Kinesiology and Nutrition. Since I was very focused, someone at the gym asked me if I was interested in becoming a personal trainer. I accepted just for the challenge and because I liked working out. I really found myself realizing that my work was starting to have an impact on people’s lives, especially those suffering from pain. I remember someone telling me: ‘You’ve changed my life, you don’t know for how long I lived with that pain.’ My job today is as an in-person personal trainer. As for nutrition, I do online consultancy,” he explained.”
