
The Foo Fighters will pay tribute to drummer Taylor Hawkins, who passed away last March, by bringing together several rock stars for a concert that celebrated his career.
Entitled “The Taylor Hawkins Tribute Concert”, the show will be broadcast live on the free streaming platform Pluto TV on Saturday (3/9), direct from Wembley Stadium in London.
Among the confirmed guests are members of different classic bands such as Led Zeppelin, Queen, Metallica, Oasis, Blink-182, The Police, Chic, Nirvana, Pretenders, Rush, Queens of Stone Age and Supergrass, as well as Ke $ ha and Wolfgang Van Halen , among many others.
Brazilian fans will be able to follow the broadcast from 12:30 (Brasilia time) on Pluto TV.
The presentation will also be available on the Paramount + streaming service from Sunday (4/9).
On the same day, MTV and the paid channel Paramount Network will air the best moments and some special content, at 8pm.
Taylor Hawkins died at the age of 50 in Bogotá, Colombia during the Foo Fighters’ tour of South America. The cause of death was an overdose, according to the country’s law enforcement agencies.
