The artist, among other things, said he was hired to perform at the Grêmio Náutico União club at the reopening of the Salão União, which has undergone renovations this year. According to Seu Jorge, there were no black people among the guests at the event, only employees.
“Personally, I didn’t see any black people at the dinner. And the blacks I met were just the employees who, which made me very angry, I felt they were forbidden to look at me or talk to me when I got there,” he revealed.
