Gattorno gets married in Egypt with a ceremony 2 years after the engagement

Francisco Gattorno married his girlfriend, Adamarys Espinosa, in Egypt, almost two years after he proposed to her.

It was on March 11, 2021 when Espinosa announced on his Instagram account that Gattorno proposed to him, he even posted a photo of the engagement ring he gave her.

“#Porunavidtogether Yes, yes, yes and a thousand times yes because with you life #thanks,” she wrote to describe her feelings at the request of her famous partner.

Seven months later, Adamarys, 32, surprisingly gave the actor, 58, a ring during a broadcast of the Hoy programme.

The star of telenovelas like La Dueña, which you can watch for free here on ViX, revealed the details of his relationship in Egypt, on October 10, with Adamarys Espinosa, 26 years his junior.

“More than marriage, it was a ritual of the country, of the Eastern way of life. Egyptian culture is something Adamarys is passionate about. We saw this way of joining our lives and we liked it, and we did it,” he told TVNotas.

Francisco Gattorno explained that he and his now-wife planned their wedding just 15 days before and that they didn’t tell anyone they were getting married because they wanted it to be something between them.

“It was a very nice thing, a very nice ceremony and he enjoyed it and I did, it was a lot of fun, something different where we had moments that will last a lifetime,” he said.

“We have great memories of that day, people were very friendly and fun, outside of any western tradition,” he added.

For his part, Espinosa stated that the ritual in question “is a tradition that brides have in Egypt, from the Aswan side. They don’t sign papers or anything like that that we Westerners do.”

“It’s a very beautiful ritual, I think it’s one of the most beautiful things I’ve experienced or will experience in my life, because they make you walk along the Nile river, then you arrive in their city, all this singing, they permeate the joy “, he said.

Although this ceremony, he asserts, “could last up to a week”, since “it is a community party [en la que] they take you from house to house’, he was there only ‘one afternoon’, from 4 to 11 at night

“They always end at night and you go back to the Nile in a boat. In fact, when you first go to town they take you to the lower part of the boat and when they come back, as it is night, you go to the upper part to contemplate the moon, because they say it is mystical and foretells success in your relationship,” he said.

For this important day of their lives, Francisco wore a white suit with a red bow tie, while Adamarys wore a V-neck wedding dress that he bought in Mexico.

“I just wanted to give him a special detail, which was the blue shoes, because [los llevaba] the day I gave him the ring on the Hoy program and I wanted there to be something for that special day,” she said.

Francisco Gattorno and Adamarys Espinosa met in 2019, thanks to mutual friends. For now, he said, they still don’t plan to raise their family, but they do plan to get married officially.

“We want to get married here in Mexico, although first we plan to buy a house and then we’ll see when we get married,” she said.
