After a 22-year hiatus, Planet Hemp has revealed the release date of the group’s fourth unreleased album.

THE Planet Hemp band announced the release date of their new album. The project, among other things, is the fourth of the group formed by Marcelo D2, BNegão, Formigão, Pedro Garcia and Nobru. It is worth mentioning that it comes for fans after a 22-year hiatus.
The album, which will be released next Friday, 21st, contains previously unreleased tracks and was produced by the artists themselves with the support of important names in the music industry, such as Nave, Mario Caldato and Zegon.
The first song from Planet Hemp’s album, “Dystopia”, in collaboration with Criolo, is now available on YouTube. In fact, the track has already hit the 1.1 million views mark on the platform. The official music video of the song, among other things, is directed by D2 and portrays chaotic urban scenarios.
“This record is very varied, as is the story of Planet Hemp: there is not one song very similar to the other. Having this team of producers with us in this endeavor was fundamental to achieving this result,” BNegão told about the different musical languages that the project runs through.
It is worth mentioning that the last album of the Planet Hemp band was “A Invasão do Sagaz Homem Fumaça”, released by the group in 2000.
