Jair Bolsonaro’s 2-minute speech, admitting Lula’s electoral defeat in his own way, produced countless memes on social media about the behavior of an ally of the president.
Admiral Flávio Augusto Viana Rocha, special secretary for strategic affairs, stole the show by making a few faces during the official statement.

Humor aside, this is a classified and respected officer. Born in Fortaleza (CE), Flávio Augusto began his military career in 1981. He has been a member of the Navy units six times.
He led delegations, oversaw exchanges between Brazil and other countries, and served as a parliamentary adviser to Congress, serving as a liaison between the Brazilian Navy and the Chamber of Deputies.
According to the curriculum available on the Planalto website, the admiral has a doctorate in naval sciences and two post-graduate degrees, one of which is in legislative law.
He also took a course in Maritime Policy and Strategy at the University of Virginia in the United States. During the Bolsonaro government he was also Secretary of Communication. He is a personal friend of the president.
It is a pity that such a high-ranking officer got the “15 minutes of fame” with incomprehensible grimaces. But it is part of the game of those who expose themselves in front of the cameras.
