In one of Erasmo Carlos’ latest social media publications, the musician photographed the affection of his wife, the widow Fernada Esteves, who accompanied him to the hospital until his last days. The artist passed away on Tuesday 22, at the age of 81.
In his Instagram Stories, Erasmo shared a photo of his hand with a message that Fernanda had left for him. “Be right back! Love you,” he wrote.
The photo shows not only the couple’s affection, but their company, as Erasmo’s widow was with him in the hospital since his hospitalization at the Barra D’Or, in Rio de Janeiro, where the singer died.
After confirming the death, Fernanda used social media to post a photo with her beloved and leave her tribute. “I saw you disappear in my arms, and I saw you thirsty to live, thirsty to LIVE WITH ME! You lived for me! It has been 12 years of meetings. I have always loved you in a hurry, with despair, with pain, with blood, with tears, my love is fierce,” she wrote. “Vido, you’ve been waiting for me for 69 years…wait a little longer!!! See you.”
Funeral
The funeral vigil of Erasmo Carlos will take place this Wednesday afternoon, 23, in Rio de Janeiro and will be reserved for family and close friends. The time and place were not disclosed.
“Anyone who wants to honor him, listen to his songs, his messages. Nothing would make him happier and more loved,” reads a note signed by Tremendão’s family, team and band on the day of his death.
