Actress Sophia Valverde announced on Wednesday (11/30) her departure from SBT after almost 10 years. She ends her contract after the telenovela “Poliana Moça”, in which she is the protagonist.
On her social profile, the 17-year-old thanked her for her career at the Silvio Santos station with a sequence of photos. “Today ends my contract with SBT. SBT was where I started my acting career. Gratitude to everyone too,” he said, opening a list of quotes from people who have passed through his life in the last decade.
“How I’m going to miss all of this, but that’s what life is like as an artist: one day you’re in one production and the next day you’re in another. You experience various characters throughout your career,” she reflected.
“I am very thankful because I know that until now it has been God who has taken care of me and directed me in such a beautiful way. And I place my future in his hands, believing that he will only put in my way what will be good for me and for others. my family. Sophia Valverde started her career at the age of 8 in children’s soap operas on SBT. After debuting as Maria in ‘Chiquititas’ (2013-2015), she appeared in ‘Cúmplices de um Resgate’ (2015) and played the title character of ‘As Aventuras de Poliana’ (2018-2019) and its sequel’ Poliana Moça” (2022).
Meanwhile, she made her film debut, starring in the award-winning drama “Como Nosso Pais” (2017), by Laís Bodanzky, in the youth comedy “The Invisible Girl” (2021), by Mauricio Eça, and its sequel, “Hora de Brilhar ” (2022).
