Former Emmerdale actress Daisy Campbell has split from her boyfriend Nick after growing apart while launching her new business, according to reports.
The 23-year-old star, who played Amelia Spencer on the ITV soap opera for 13 years before being written out in 2024, began dating Nick that same year after originally meeting him at school.
A source told The Sun that Campbell split from Nick earlier this year as her schedule became consumed by setting up her new fitness venture.
"Daisy split from her boyfriend Nick earlier this year," the source said. "She’s been incredibly busy with her studio and they just grew apart."
The insider added that single Campbell has "never been happier" following the breakup, surrounding herself with a supportive circle of friends while focusing on her commercial venture.

"She has never been happier - she has a big group of friends, is working super hard and just doesn’t even have time for a man," the source said.
Nick had provided crucial support to the actress following her departure from Emmerdale and throughout the process of setting up her studio, with the source adding that there is no bad blood between the former couple.
"Nick helped her after she was axed from Emmerdale and while setting up the studio and he was very supportive, so there is no bad blood," the source noted.
Representatives for Campbell have been contacted by the Daily Mail for comment regarding the split.
Life on the ITV soap opera
Campbell is best known to television viewers for her long-running portrayal of Amelia Spencer on Emmerdale, a popular British television soap opera produced by ITV and set in the fictional village of Emmerdale in the Yorkshire Dales. She first joined the show back in 2011 when she was just seven years old.

Speaking last year, Campbell admitted that she "sacrificed" many parts of her childhood for the ITV drama before being brutally axed in 2024 after 13 years on screen.
During her time on the soap, the actress featured in numerous high-profile storylines, including a shock teenage pregnancy and a turbulent relationship with villainous character Tom King.
Despite insisting her time on the program was "such a privilege," Campbell confessed that she felt she missed out on normal childhood experiences with her friends.
"I feel like I did miss out a lot during my childhood with friends and stuff," Campbell said. "I used to want to stay at school with my friends rather than be on set."
Her exit came after a new producer took charge of the soap, a sudden decision that left the young actress upset and in a "dark hole."

"When it's been ripped away from you, because that's what it genuinely felt like, it was so out of the blue, you do just get into a bit of a hole of, oh god, like, can I do this?" she recalled.
Launching That Pilates Place
Following her exit from Emmerdale, Campbell secured a brief appearance in the long-running BBC medical drama Casualty, but she struggled to find regular acting work.
Faced with uncertainty in the entertainment industry, she chose to turn her back on acting to establish her own business, opening a studio called That Pilates Place in the West Yorkshire market town of Pontefract using her soap earnings.
"I found it hard, I love my acting, I do, but I wanted something stable for myself, because I'm so, like, wanting to keep myself busy all the time," Campbell told The Sun. "I was like 'What can I do that's gonna make me not just want to sit at home all the time?'"
Although she has not ruled out a future return to acting, Campbell emphasised that her business in Pontefract is now her main focus.

The actress previously revealed that show executives admitted they had run out of storylines for Amelia Spencer after the character's parents departed the fictional dales, leaving her character isolated.
Support from Emmerdale co-stars
Campbell recalled struggling to film her final scenes after ITV bosses called her into a meeting to deliver the news of her departure.
"It wasn't my choice to leave Emmerdale and it was a shock at first," Campbell told The Mirror. "Being in Emmerdale is all I have ever known. I've spent the whole of my childhood growing up in the soap and it felt daunting."
After learning about her exit, Campbell initially kept the information private, confiding in only three of her closest friends and co-stars: Rosie Bentham, Katie Hill, and Jack Downham.
She explained that while her co-stars were left utterly devastated by the decision, they provided strong emotional support behind the scenes.
"They were upset for me but so supportive," Campbell said. "I didn't tell the rest of the cast my news initially as I wanted the time to process everything. I needed time to grieve the part of Amelia."
