Olympic medalist Damian Quintero will return to the Cayos Cochinos as the latest confirmed contestant for the Telecinco reality show Supervivientes All Stars 3.
The Spanish karateka, who is a world champion and an Olympic silver medalist, will face the extreme conditions in Honduras for a second time. Quintero previously competed in the 2025 edition of the survival programme, where famous figures are left to fend for themselves while taking part in physical challenges.
He was announced on Monday as the second addition of the day to the reality show's cast of returning faces. The All Stars format brings back former contestants who want to improve on the results they achieved during their first time on the island.
Physical strength in Honduras
During his previous time on the show, Quintero was noted for his physical strength and his ability to tackle the programme's demanding trials. The athlete took a leadership role in the early stages of the competition and was involved in some of the most difficult moments of the 2025 series.
He progressed to an advanced stage of the contest but was eliminated before the final battle for the ultimate prize. His return gives him a second opportunity to apply what he learned in Honduras, with the goal of extending his stay and challenging for the title.
Quintero is one of Spain's most decorated martial artists. He specialises in kata, the discipline of karate that focuses on detailed choreographed patterns of movements. He won a silver medal at the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo, where the sport made its debut, and holds multiple world championship titles.
Official contestant roster
Quintero joins a growing list of returning personalities aiming for victory in the third All Stars edition. Telecinco has now confirmed seven official contestants for the upcoming season of the Mediaset network's flagship reality series.
The confirmed cast includes Rosa Benito, Arkano, Alma Bollo, Asraf Beno, Almudena Martinez, also known as Chiqui, and Ivana Icardi. They will all join Quintero on the Honduran archipelago as they attempt to survive the elements and outlast their fellow competitors.
Supervivientes is the Spanish adaptation of the international Survivor franchise. The Cayos Cochinos, a marine protected area off the northern coast of Honduras, has served as the primary setting for the Spanish programme for several years. Participants must endure harsh tropical weather while facing weekly public votes.
