Former TOWIE star Danielle Armstrong showed off her post-baby weight-loss on Monday as she posed in a bra and jeans for a transformation video.
The 38-year-old reality television personality has two daughters, six-year-old Orla and three-year-old Una, with her husband Tom Edney, and has made no secret of her love for fitness in recent years after dropping 3.5 stone in 2024.
In her new social media post, Armstrong shared a clip recorded when she was three months postpartum with her second child, showing her struggling to do up her favourite pair of pre-pregnancy jeans. Across the top of the initial clip, she wrote: "3 months postpartum and I couldn't get into my fave pair of pre pregnancy jeans."

The footage then transitioned to show Armstrong looking toned and healthy, as she revealed that the exact same pair of trousers had actually become too big for her to wear.

Detailed in the caption of her upload, the television star explained the dedication required to achieve her fitness results over the course of twelve months.

"Yes, it took a year. No quick fixes, starving myself, extreme diets or hours of cardio. Just a simple plan I could actually stick to," Armstrong wrote.

Daily routine and dietary plan
Armstrong outlined the specific daily routine that guided her transformation, explaining how she structured her daily meals and physical activity to maintain consistency.
"I started each day with my breakfast protein shake, then ate little and often, roughly every 2 to 3 hours," she said, noting that she ate five times a day to reach around 1,500 calories while consuming 100g of protein alongside short weight training sessions at home.
She also announced an upcoming fitness initiative for her followers, writing: "My Drop a Jean Size challenge starts Monday 5th October. I'm not saying you'll get my result in 21 days, but it's a start, and I'd love to help you get going. DM me 'JEANS' and I'll send you the plan I followed, the workouts and details of how to join."

Armstrong prides herself on helping others to become the best version of themselves, frequently sharing fashion and wellness guidance with her online audience.
Addressing common misconceptions around celebrity fitness regimes, Armstrong previously emphasized on Instagram that she achieved her physical results without using weight loss injections.

"In a world that it seems injecting is the only solution for weight loss these days. This is your sign to tell you there is another way," she posted online.
Stance on natural weight loss
She urged her followers to avoid extreme measures, writing: "If you're someone who wants to prioritise your health and get results without taking any risks or quick fixes to do so, but you're not a big gym lover or haven't got time to meal prep and live on chicken and broccoli then this is your sign to message me NOW."
Armstrong later elaborated on the fundamental principles behind her trim body, stressing that successful weight management comes down to sustainable eating and regular movement.

"80 per cent of what we look like is down to what we eat, you need to find a nutrition plan that will allow you to be in a calorie deficit that doesn't make you feel like you're on a diet," she explained.
Warning against temporary eating plans, she added: "DIETS DO NOT WORK, they are a quick fix. You need something to follow that is realistic to your lifestyle and you actually enjoy."
She also shared specific eating windows and hydration targets that proved crucial to her routine. "I also stop eating after 8pm which makes a huge difference to your results. Water is key to getting results, I aim for 2.5/3L of water every day," she revealed.

Steps, supplements and sleep habits
In addition to dietary management, Armstrong places strong emphasis on daily step counts, tracking her movement using an Apple Watch smartwatch.
"I like to track my steps I get quite competitive with myself on the Apple Watch closing my circles," she said, adding: "I aim for 10K steps minimum per day. Trust me even if you can't get to the gym getting your steps in is still good."
Her routine also incorporates daily nutritional supplements to support overall wellness, digestion, and immune function.
"Supplements have become a big part of my life now, I have a range of pills I take throughout the day which helps my body absorb the good nutrients from foods and smoothies I have. I also have a Pre - Probiotic that I take to keep my gut working its best that helps with weight management / bloating and immune health," she detailed.
Armstrong highlighted sleep and recovery as vital components of metabolic health, cautioning against rest deprivation.
"Lastly sleep and resting is just as important as all the above. Poor sleep can lower your metabolism, making it harder to burn calories. So getting to bed by 10pm and up at 6am," she stated.

Rise to fame on British reality television
Armstrong first rose to public prominence on the hit ITV reality television series The Only Way Is Essex (TOWIE) back in 2013, though she later admitted she never planned to pursue a career in television.
Speaking on Vicky Pattison's The Secret To podcast, Armstrong recalled how her entry into reality television came about while working in fashion retail.
"I never wanted to be famous or in the industry. I was dating Lockie [James Lock] at the time, when I had my fashion job," she explained during the podcast appearance.
She concluded: "I was a buyer for Topshop and when he got asked to go on that show, I was talking to him at the time so then I got asked. That just naturally happened."
