Actress Jane Fonda has become the heroine of the new issue of the CNN talk show. In an interview with American presenter Chris Wallace, she spoke about the main regrets in life. The 85-year-old star explained that she would like to clarify everything before her death. Most of all, according to Fonda, she dreams of correcting the mistakes she made while raising three children.
I was not the kind of mother I would like to be for my children. I have wonderful, simply wonderful children – talented, smart. And I just didn’t know at the time how to do it right,” Jane explained.
Fonda continued to reflect on parenting and noted that over the years she has studied the process of communicating with children. Now the actress wants to devote more time to making contact.
What I’m really afraid of is coming to the end of my life with a lot of regrets when there’s no time to do anything about it. That’s one of the reasons I try to get it all done before I get to the end,” shared Jane.
Fonda was 28 when she tied the knot for the first time. The lucky one was the famous film director Roger Vadim, who was 10 years older than her. Fonda and Vadim exchanged vows in Las Vegas in 1965, and in 1968 she starred in his sci-fi film Barbarella. In total, Jane has three children – 55-year-old Mary-Luana Williams, 54-year-old Vanessa Vadim and 49-year-old Troy Garity.
This is not the first time the actress has addressed difficult topics. She previously revealed that she suffers from an eating disorder. At some point, Fonda was not even sure that she would live to be 30 years old. For the first time, she encountered bulimia at the very beginning of her career.
