King Charles III touchingly paid tribute to the memory of Elizabeth II on Mother’s Day

Last Sunday, the official account of the British Palace published a touching address from King Charles III, timed to coincide with Mother’s Day. It is worth noting that the reigning monarch of Great Britain had an excellent relationship with his parent, and he was very upset by her death in September last year. By the way, in the post you can find not only an early childhood photograph of Charles with the late Elizabeth, but also a later photograph of his wife, Queen Consort Camilla, along with her mother, Rosalind Shand, who died back in 1994.

To all mothers around the world and to those who may be missing their mothers today, we are thinking of you and wishing you a very special Mother’s Day.

Mother’s Day was also celebrated by Kate Middleton. On the occasion of the holiday, she published a new photo with Charles’s three grandchildren: 9-year-old pretender to the throne Prince George, 7-year-old Princess Charlotte and 4-year-old charming Louis. By the way, the other day it became known what roles are in store for Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis at the upcoming coronation of Charles III and Camilla, which will take place on May 6 at Westminster Abbey. And recently we wrote about what state jewels we will see at the historical ceremony.

Charles III knighted Queen guitarist Brian May last week. Cult musician received the title of Knight Bachelor, which is not part of the organized orders of knighthood in the United Kingdom and is usually awarded to civilians from the world of art.
