JLo surprises by appearing NUDE on social networks: here’s why

On March 21, the official Instagram account of the singer’s fashion label, JLO by Jennifer López, published the photoshoot in which the founder shows off her perfectly natural figure.

The production was tasked with taking care of the details and certain areas of her body were strategically covered with extremely long honey-toned hair.

The two pigtails with which her hair was made cross her chest and cover her back. As for the make-up, the natural style is appreciated, highlighting her eyes with a ‘smokey eye’.

The reason JLo stripped

The photos in which Jennifer López appears naked are part of the advertising campaign for her new shoe line in collaboration with Revolve. That’s why in the pictures she’s showing off a pair of spartan-style high-heeled shoes, with straps that wrap around most of her foot.

“Starting the week off right with new photos #JLOJenniferLopez for Revolve,” reads the bottom of the post on her fashion brand’s account.

In fact, on March 18, the actress hosted a launch party for her collaboration with Revolve at her residence in Beverly Hills, California.

It’s not the first time Ben Affleck’s wife has taken off her clothes for marketing purposes. In July 2022, she posed nude to promote her skincare line, JLo Body.

JLo fights against ageism

With the recent images, Jennifer López would reaffirm her position in the fight against ageism.

In June 2013, the actress and singer defended herself against the criticism she has received for the way she has decided to display her body.

“I think women still feel compelled to justify our actions depending on our ageThis is not fair to those of us who still have the energy to carry on. Fortunately, more and more women are challenging these social conventions and I think in time people will accept as normal the kind of life that women like me lead,” she told the Daily Telegraph a decade ago.
