Nadia Ferreira is sweetly expecting her first child with Marc Anthony, who doesn’t stop pampering her in this important phase of her life.
Although the 23-year-old model is currently happy and healthy, during her childhood and teenage years the illnesses she suffered made her existence difficult.

The former Miss Universe contestant spoke in depth, in an interview with People en Español, about the circumstances that have affected her well-being since she came into this world.
“I always say that I am a miracle from God, because I was born with a congenital taricha and at the age of 8 months I had to be operated on,” he explained.
Faced with the risk of her dying in less than a year, since she “wasn’t going to resist”, Nadia’s family agreed to undergo surgery, which could have caused her “some problems”.
“My mother made the decision to operate on me and it was a success,” said the wife of the interpreter of “Your love makes me good.”

However, the complications did not end. At the age of 10, Nadia started showing damage as a result of the physical exertion she put in playing tennis and cycling, among other activities.
After two years of treatment, Ferreira was misdiagnosed with multiple sclerosis. It took longer to know what he really had.
“[Luego] the diagnosis [fue] Susac syndrome, which is from the same family, but has a cure,” he explained about what happened.
Despite all the difficult circumstances she experienced, she remained positive and did not lose faith that she would make a full recovery.
“From a very young age I told my mom: ‘I’ll be fine. I lost sight, hearing and some mobility on the left side [del rostro]but I told him, ‘I’ll be fine, I know I’ll be fine,'” he told the report.
Nadia claimed that doctors in Argentina, where she had to move with her family to receive treatment, “did a lot of things” to help her get better.
“I was treated with a doctor who specializes in multiple sclerosis. She did eye scans, CT scans, drugs, countless operations. I wore glasses for a long time,” she explained.
“Also, finally after two years of treatment, I was regaining my sight and hearing and [hoy] I’m stronger than ever,” he added.

For Nadia Ferreira, these stormy moments remained as memories and now, carrying a baby in her belly, it is her own husband who showers her with attention.
“Mark’s support is essential in my pregnancy [lo] it was and mainly this is due to him. He is with me, I am well aware“, he demonstrated.
The Paraguayan businesswoman and the salsa singer are “together almost all day” and have “a great relationship”, so they get along “super well”.
“His support and affection is essential to make this great. And I know he’s going to be a great father, that’s already clear to me,” she assured.
Ferreira did not want to reveal the gender of his son, but made it clear that all they both want is for him to be “born in great health.” “Whether it’s a girl or a boy, it doesn’t matter, whatever God sends us, we’re happy,” he said.
