Alfonso Herrera criticizes the contractual exploitation with RBD: “The broadcaster was not fair”

Ator is the only member of the group who will not participate in the “Soy Rebelde” tour; he said he wants colleagues to be paid fairly for the meeting

Alfonso HerreraMiguel Arango from Rebelonce again criticized the way the Mexican broadcaster television she groomed him and his telenovela colleagues during the group’s peak and exhibition period.

The actor is the only member of the RDB extension who will not participate in the tour i’m rebellious, which will reunite the band for shows in North and South America. In an interview with the Mexican edition of the newspaper Villagehe was asked about the decision.

“I am very happy with the projects that I have at the moment and that I have energy for right now. I know this project [os novos shows do RBD] it will be a resounding success and I wish them nothing but happiness,” he said.

He continued, citing his colleagues’ desire to be paid fairly for the tour: “At one point, a magazine reported that I had overcharged to return. [para a banda] and what i’m saying is they better pay them back for all the crap they’ve been into for so many years. It has nothing to do with money, it has to do with equity.”

Explaining what he meant by “just right,” Herrera cited the dissatisfaction he felt with the contract he signed when he started acting Rebel. According to him, Televisa has not paid enough for what it has earned from the image of the actors.

“It was difficult, because we signed a contract where we gave away the rights to the character, the image of the character and everything that was explored in terms of merchandising, we didn’t see a single weight,” he recalled.

“I was 23 or 24 and saw the faces of my colleagues and myself in all the markets selling cookies, gum, juice, notebooks, sneakers, pencils and nothing. The broadcaster that owns this project doesn’t it was right and it’s not about the money, I repeat, it’s about work,” he added.
