Forbes magazine has released its annual ranking of the richest people in the world. It was headed by the president of the LVMH group of companies (Louis Vuitton Moët Hennessy) Bernard Arnault. The magazine estimated the businessman’s fortune at $211 billion. Over the past 12 months, Arno’s fortune has increased by $53 billion. Previously, the leader of the list was the founder of Tesla and SpaceX, Elon Musk. Now he is in second place with a fortune of $180 billion.
In third place is Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, who is worth $114 billion. The top ten also included Larry Ellison, Warren Buffett, Bill Gates, Michael Bloomberg, Carlos Slim Elu, Mukesh Ambani and Steve Ballmer.
Andrey Melnichenko, the founder of Evrokhim and SUEK, is among the Russian businessmen in the rating. In a year, his fortune has more than doubled and now stands at $25.2 billion. In the world ranking, Melnichenko is in 58th place. On the second line among the Russians was Vladimir Potanin with a fortune of 23.7 billion dollars.

The owner of NLMK, Vladimir Lisin, who topped the rating of Russian billionaires last year, dropped to third place. At the same time, over the year, his fortune increased by 3.7 billion dollars and amounted to 22.1 billion dollars.
