Juan Rivera receives ‘worst news’ about his health: this is what happens to Lupilo and Jenny’s brother

Juan Rivera has revealed that he has received a definitive diagnosis for his health condition, which is why he has asked his fans to keep him in their prayers.

The younger brother of the late Jenni Rivera announced several months ago that he has a condition in his right ear, which is why his hearing has been affected.

Juan Rivera’s condition is deteriorating

On May 2, the 45-year-old singer posted on his Instagram account a photo of the latest clinical studies done on him, which show that his condition has progressed.

“Sometimes it’s hard to keep faith when they give you the worst news about your problem,” she revealed in the letter accompanying the image.

“Here, today (the doctor) tells me that my hearing is the worst it can be and that it’s permanent,” he added of the evaluation he received.

Despite the complicated situation he is facing, Juan Rivera claimed to have hope and even asked his fans to pray for him.

“I decide to believe in a God of miracles! I’ll be patiently waiting to find out what this obstacle brings! There I entrust your prayers, if you will,” he concluded his text.

In the comments section of the post, several friends and fans expressed their support for the entrepreneur, assuring him that “everything will be fine.”

What does Juan Rivera have?

Last March, Juan Rivera uploaded a video to his YouTube channel in which he spoke in a little more detail about the love he is in.

“I (had) this ear (right) bad, inflammation at the bottom, it wasn’t the drum, it wasn’t the part in the middle, inside. I did several tests, I think on January 4 (2023), in Culiacán (Sinaloa, Mexico),” he explained.

“On February 20, the specialist told me that the inflammation had gone to that ear (on the left) and I started having ringing,” he added.

The interpreter of “Oveja negra” pointed out that he had a “ringing” in his right ear “for two months” without stopping, for which he “almost” could not hear.

“They started giving me medicine and injections for the inflammation, and it went down and the ringing in it (in the left ear) stopped, even more so (in the right ear) it continues,” he said.

Due to this discomfort, Rivera went for a review, after which he received the first unpleasant news from an otolaryngologist.

“(He said) that Juan had lost hearing in his right ear and was too weak to recover. He’s basically deaf in his right ear for life,” said Brenda, the artist’s wife.

At that moment they both expressed their wish that “this is not true”. “Let’s hope that God will perform the miracle that heals his ear,” said Lupilo Rivera’s sister-in-law.
