Mila will have to adapt quickly to the challenges and with the help of her friends Juliana (Yuki Sugimoto), Vinicius (John Victor) and Peter (Dan Flomin) will go in search of his mother, thus experiencing the most incredible adventure in the exploration of the vast multiverse.
The little things in life

Based on the bestselling collection of essays by Cheryl Strayed, “Little Things in Life” accompanies Clare (Kathryn Hahn), a writer who becomes a successful journalist as her personal life falls apart.
When we first meet Clare, she is having a hard time: her marriage to Danny (Quentin Plair) is no longer the same, his daughter Rae (Tanzyn Crawford) ignores her and his promising career is gone. So when a fellow writer asks her to take on the role of “Dear Sugar” advice columnist, she doesn’t think she’s the right person to advise others. After reluctantly accepting the character “Sugar”, Clare’s life unravels in a complex web of memories, exploring the most important moments of her life, from childhood to the present day, delving into beauty, struggle and humor of death from your open wounds. Through Sugar, Clare becomes a balm for her readers and for herself.
Red: Growing Up Is a Beast (2022)

On Disney+ from March 2022, “Red: Growing Up Is a Beast” is directed by Academy Award winner Domee Shi (Pixar short film Well) and produced by Lindsey Collins and is part of Pixar’s animation slate.
In the film we meet Ming Lee: proud wife, caring mother and devoted guardian of the Lee family temple in Toronto’s Chinatown, Ming is always elegant and takes her professional duties very seriously. Ming is also serious about controlling her precious daughter Meilin. There is no doubt that Ming is intense, stubborn, funny, controlling and, as Mei would say, “too much”. But the deep love she has for her family is always on display. “Ming is a mix of all the strong Asian women in my life,” says Domee Shi, director of the film.
Mafia moms

The winner of the award Berlin series at the 73rd Berlin International Film Festival, “mafia mothers” is based on true events and the book of Alex Perri. The series tells the story of the daughter of Lea Garofalo (Micaela Ramazzotti), Denise (Gaia Girace), Maria Concetta Cacciola (Simona Distefano) and Giuseppina Pesce (Valentina Bella), three women who dare to challenge the ‘Ndrangheta mafia, trying to destroy it from within. For this they enlist the help of Anna Colace (Barbara Chiarelli) a prosecutor recently arrived in Calabria. He has a strategy to bring down the ‘Ndrangheta clans: focus on women. But his plan involves great risks, since the ‘Ndrangheta is famous and feared for its relentless cruelty.
“mafia mothers” is the gripping story of Denise, Giuseppina and Maria Concetta as they attempt to free themselves from the power of crime and build a new future for their children.
New start in the family

Finally, on our list of productions to watch for Mother’s Day we have “Rebooting the Family”. The docuseries follows families who have become so busy with their individual lives that they have lost touch with each other. In each episode, a family leaves behind their busy schedules, electronics and distractions to embark on a week-long road trip. They will be led by a guide whose focus is on reconnecting and rebuilding family ties. The mothers, together with their families, leave this journey completely “reset”. After all, they’ll be more connected, happier, and ready to go back to their lives with a whole new perspective.
