Rachel Weisz is a featured guest on The News Agency podcast. The actress spoke about the new series “Death Tied”. In the show, the star played two characters at once — twin sisters working as gynecologists. Previously, viewers have criticized the too realistic scenes in the series, which show how women have miscarriages. Weiss considered this reaction strange.
I was surprised because I was just trying to tell this story about a woman’s experience and it didn’t seem to me to be exaggerated or overdramatized. Women miscarry, I had a miscarriage too. Suddenly you see blood flowing out of your body, and it’s all just part of the female experience of life. We are not used to this. I think society is not used to seeing that kind of experience in movies. So, maybe it opens up some new horizons in our show,” said Rachel.

The actress did not specify exactly when the tragic events occurred. Weiss also opened up about her husband, Daniel Craig. She noted that she is glad that he turned down the role of James Bond after the 2021 film No Time to Die.
It was very dangerous. He often got injured because he did all his own stunts. Now the danger quotient has definitely gone down… It’s a much less stressful time for him. I’m really proud of his time as Bond and I think he was really brilliant,” Weiss said.
Deathlinks premiered last month. The actress appeared at the London run of the show, which took place a week after the New York premiere. Rachel rarely becomes the heroine of the gossip column. However, for the sake of a new project, she nevertheless came out. Weiss opted for a classic yet vibrant velvet suit for a 70s-inspired look. You can see the photo here.
