The remains of Jefferson Machado da Costa were found inside a trunk buried on an estate west of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The 44-year-old actor had been missing for four months.
The body was found on Monday, May 22, however, on the 24th, when the identity was confirmed through fingerprints.
According to information from local media such as Jornal O Dia, the last contact with Jefferson was on January 27, but the family noticed his absence days later when his eight dogs were found roaming the street. Finally, it was in February that authorities officially reported him missing.

“It is with a heavy heart that we inform you that Jeff was found dead on 05/22/2023. Jefferson was coldly and brutally murdered by jealous, evil and of course ruthless people.
