Kim Cattrall reveals how her relationship with sex has changed with age

“Sex and the City” star Kim Cattrall spoke about how understanding of sexuality changes with age. The 66-year-old actress remembered how her personal life developed at the age of 40. Kim is a guest on the New York Times podcast called “Modern Love”.

I had a kind of belated sexual activity. Therefore, in those years, I preferred relationships in which you could experiment, and it was fun, Cattrall said.

With age, according to the actress, the attitude towards sex changes. Kim said that it is important to tell your partner about desires, not to be shy and to be liberated.

Ask for what you want. Show what you want. Most men have no idea about this. So everything is in your hands. Most women get too nervous, anxious, feel like they didn’t do their homework in school when they try to figure out what they like, she said.

Cattrall noted that she learned not to be afraid to be vulnerable in a relationship, as she did a “good job” on herself. The actress was able, according to her confession, to build a deep and meaningful relationship with her current partner Russell Thomas:

Recall that Kim Cattrall has been dating acting teacher Russell Thomas for seven years. He is 20 years younger than his lover. In one of the interviews, the actress admitted that she feels very comfortable next to him.
