This Tuesday, 29, the presenter Ana Maria Braga he countered the criticisms he received after sharing documents that he was baptized in Jordan RiverIn Israel. According to Ana, some people started saying that the presenter hadn’t actually been baptized, since, according to negative comments, “it’s about something much more important than that.”




However, she clarified that the gesture has to do with “symbolism”. “I have already been baptized and those who go there are already baptized Catholics. […] Baptism is nothing but the forgiveness of the original sins committed by Adam and Eve”, commented Ana during the presentation of the More youProgram of Rede Globe.

The presenter also told about the place, the setting of different parts of the Biblesuch as the baptism of Jesus Christ. “Jesus, despite being what he was, was baptized. […] So it’s a symbolism that touches people’s souls,” he said.

Ana Maria posted the videos of the baptism on her profile on Instagram last week. In the documents she was moved by the moment and also stated that the gesture is symbolic, “but important for those who believe”.
