Just before the first season episodes were released, Netflix unveiled one final trailer for A piece (video in an article). An opportunity to stock up on images that should delight enthusiasts, but also allow beginners to better understand what this work is about.

Let’s see like this Luffy, child, faces Shanks the Roux who gives him his straw hat. A way to let viewers understand that he is the pirate who will have inspired the hero in his quest to become the Pirate King. A title he hopes to obtain thanks to One Piece, the treasure of Gol D. Roger.

The faces of the Netflix series

As a reminder, the series A piece is an adaptation of the famous manga by Eiichiro Oda. A work that first gave rise a very popular anime. Launched in 1999, it includes more than a thousand episodes. Which provides material for the Netflix series.

Also noteworthy is the bold choice of platform to bet on almost unfamiliar faces to bring this version live. Inaki Godoy embodies the hero Luffy, accompanied by Emily Rudd (Nami), Mackenyu (Zoro), Jacob Gibson (Usopp) and Taz Skylar (Sanji). All five are formed The Straw Hat crew. A crew that has grown over time in the manga and anime.
