Then, Judge Eric Scapim Cunha Brandão concluded that the crimes increase the possibility of inciting violence against the presenter. In his sentence he established:
“This is an action in which the plaintiff intends to be compensated for moral damage for the accusations characterized as insulting, defamatory and angry that were allegedly made by the defendant in a post on Instagram. In light of the foregoing, I believe that the The plaintiff requests that the defendant be ordered to pay the amount of R $ 70 thousandplus late payment interest of 1% per month from the damaging event (comment on social media).”
Eduardo will also have to bear the costs and fees of the trial, which have been arbitrated at the rate of 20% of the value of the sentence, i.e. another R$14,000. The musician can still appeal as it is a first degree civil case.
