From an early age it is possible to observe that children who start learning other languages already in childhood develop faster. With that in mind, we teamed up with Preply to list 10 celebrity couples with children who already speak another language. Let’s go!
Bruno Gagliasso and Giovanna Ewbank
Two of the artist couple’s three children were adopted in Malawi, a country in southeast Africa, which has native regional dialects as its main language. When they arrived in Brazil, Titi, 10, and Bless, 8, did not yet speak Portuguese, but they gradually learned the language and are enrolled in a bilingual English-Portuguese school.

Little Jake, the former couple’s three-year-old son, learns and studies in two different places. This way he has greater immersion in the languages in which he is taught literacy: Portuguese, at home, English and Korean, at school. The famous French chef often talks about cute moments with his four-year-old children Élise and Antonie on his social media. In one of the video published on Instagram by Rosângela, Jacquin’s wife, the mother films Antonie talking about colors and Élise singing a song in French. In addition, the chef has an eldest son, Edouard, 24 years old, who, like his father, is French and can speak Portuguese.

The family lives in London and her eldest daughter shows an interest in the English language videos published by the mother and by her father Schille, who speaks several sentences in the language she has been exposed to since she was very young.

Finally, on our list of celebrity couples who have bilingual children we have Gisele. The Brazilian, married to the American football player, says her two children, Vivian, 10, and Benjamin, 13, speak three languages: Portuguese, English and Spanish. The model says that she communicates with her children in the official Brazilian language and that is how they learned the language, including her ex-husband who also knows how to speak a little.
