Singer Preta Gil did not feel well and had to cancel her last show at the Salvador Carnival on Tuesday 13th. She, who had already performed on the other days, will join the electric trio together with rapper Xamã. “My little body was asking for rest, there have been so many emotions in the last few days. Today I didn’t feel well and my doctors advised me to stay at home on this last day of Carnival, to rest,” he wrote in his Instagram stories.
The text continues: “Soon I will be well. I’m sad because I wanted to sing with my friend Xamã, but my priority is my well-being, my health,” explained the singer.
The singer performed with Daniela Mercury at Camarote Expresso 2222.
Preta Gil she announced in December that she was cancer-free. “I have overcome bowel cancer. I have won this battle, together with the help of God, my Orixás, my saints, your love, my family and the irreparable competence of the doctors,” she wrote at the time.
