The cheating story was revealed by Renata Heilborn, shortly after her ex began his relationship with Carol Barcellos. She told everything in sequence on her Instagram stories.

“This is the first and last time I comment on a news story that is coming out in the media (and, unfortunately, with a lot of false information). We are in the middle of the carnival, and I’m having fun… it, seizing the opportunity to be happy. In fact, do the same! I only agree to meet you on the street full of sequins [risos]”, began the journalist, who reports that they have been married for 10 years and denies that the relationship was open.

“I discovered in the worst possible way that my ex-husband was having an affair with a friend of mine, the godmother of my marriage. We were already in crisis, and I myself had already asked for separation a year before all this happened. However, in a moment in which someone who was fragile, after leaving TV Globo, I discovered that he was with a friend, one of those confidants with whom I spent time every day. After discovering this, one Friday morning, I left the house and he went to live in her house and live her ‘passion’,” he underlined.

So he said it was difficult to deal with the separation and that it took time to heal. “I immediately started blaming myself because I opened my intimacy to a person who judged my friend. A friend’s betrayal opens a much deeper hole. But it wasn’t an option to stop living. I didn’t deserve this,” he said.

“Finally, let’s move forward: everyone gives what they have. And there are people who have nothing to give. Who are empty, with a fragile character. I have lost my fear, the trauma has remained, and today I am just grateful. Like all the others who when they meet me say: “It was liberation”. Who are with me at all times.
