Rapper Óscar Alan Vázquez Díaz, better known as Majestic, drowned at the age of 24 on a Mexican beach on February 19, hours after participating in an event, local media reported in the Oaxaca city of Huatulco.
According to reports, Majestic participated in a rap contest on Sunday, February 18 at the Rufino Tamayo Eco Park and thus took advantage of the trip to enjoy the natural beauties of the place.
On Monday the 19th he went with a small group of friends to La Entrega Bay where, according to information from local media, the waves “drew him into the sea and he died by drowning,” the ADN Sureste newspaper reported.
According to reports, lifeguards helped him out of the water, but he did not register vital signs. The Fire Department responded to the call for help to try to revive him, without success.

The rapper’s partner also said that transporting the artist’s body to Mexico City was “complicated”, so they are asking for donations to cover the costs.
