Harry and Meghan break royal tradition and change their children’s surnames

In view of a possible rapprochement with the royal family, Harry and Meghan launch a site with different surnames for Archie and Lilibet

After Harry visited King Charles III, who was diagnosed with cancer, rumors emerged about a possible rapprochement between the Dukes of Sussex and the royal family. However, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have launched a website with controversial information.

On the site the surnames of Harry and Meghan’s heirs appear different. This is because they were changed from Mountbatten-Windsor to Sussex, in the names of Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet Diana.

According to royal expert Jennie Bond, Harry and Meghan are taking steps to assert their independence. However, they are choosing the wrong means. “It’s another declaration of their independence, and there’s nothing wrong with that. But it still seems to me like there’s an internal conflict involving their children,” she stressed.
