Ana Maria Braga’s daughter reveals Globo’s “boycott”: “A hidden thing”

Mariana Maffeis has declared that she and her children will no longer be able to appear online

Unlike her famous mother, Mariana Maffeis, daughter of Ana Maria Braga, chose to live away from the spotlight. She currently lives with her husband and three children on a farm in Botucatu, inland from São Paulo. However, anyone who thinks that she has a long-distance relationship with the presenter is wrong.

In an interview with the magazine This is!, the yoga teacher blamed Globo for the impression people have that she and her mother are distant. According to her, the network no longer allows her and her children to appear frequently.

“We could go straight there, [agora] people can’t show up anymore, kids can’t show up anymore, it takes a lot of permissions. Before it was normal, we would show up, always make declarations on Christmas, New Year, birthdays, and all of a sudden, something was hiding. I think this ‘hidden’ is due to the position of the company, its program and, consequently, also its social network,” she explained.

“But perhaps I also consider it a bit of a boycott, because what I bring may seem like a conflict of interest towards a company like Globo and its sponsors. I understand that, and my relationship with my mother is way above that,” she added.

During the Covid-19 pandemic, Ana Maria Braga’s daughter sparked controversy by calling the Covid vaccine for children a “satanist agenda”.
