Actor Elliot Page shared his new passport photo with his Instagram followers, a year and a half after starting his gender transition. Protagonist of the series “The Umbrella Academy”, Page made clear his satisfaction when he took the new document, which records his male identity of him.
“I never thought I would like a passport photo,” he wrote in the caption of the publication, this Sunday (7/3).
Previously known for films such as “Juno”, “Inception” and for playing Kitty Pryde in the X-Men films, Elliot has publicly revealed that he would begin identifying himself as a trans man in December 2020. This change was also addressed in the third season. from “The Umbrella Academy,” released June 22 on Netflix.
The actor’s first job since the announcement, the series also records a transition of his character: Vanya has become Viktor Hargreeves in the new chapters.
