Duchess Camilla of Cornwall by Kate Middleton – new portrait

Kate Middleton picked up the camera again for a special occasion – the wife of Prince Charles and Queen consort of England Camilla of Cornwall became the heroine of the cover of a glossy publication. The new issue of Country Life is dedicated to the imminent 75th anniversary of Camilla and the 125th anniversary of the magazine itself.

In the frame, a smiling Camille, dressed in a sky-blue dress with a white flower and a matching cardigan, is perched on a bench in the royal gardens with a basket filled with pelargoniums prepared for planting. Also, another informal photograph by Kate Middleton appeared on the network, in which Camilla walks through a garden overgrown with forget-me-nots.

All photos were taken at Ray Mill House, Camilla’s home in Lacock, Wiltshire, located 27 kilometers from Prince Charles’ Highgrove estate. The Duchess purchased the six-bedroom mansion after divorcing Andrew Parker-Bowles in the mid-1990s. A backstage shot was also presented, showing Kate at work.

Recall that Kate Middleton, in turn, is fond of photography for a very long time. She oversees the work of the Royal Photographic Society, and regularly and enjoys taking official portraits of her family members – her husband Prince William, children George, Charlotte and Louis – for special dates, such as birthdays.

In addition, Camilla will be guest editor of the latest issue of Country Life for the first time. Prince Charles was honored with this honor twice – in November 2013 on the occasion of his 65th birthday and in 2018, when he celebrated another anniversary – 70 years. In 2020, Princess Anne, who also turned 70, was in the same place. The new edition will be released next Wednesday.
